Blue Lagoon - Mariam De Giorgio

Seen from above, a turquoise lagoon spreads between rust-brown and grey rock. Small white boats lie scattered across the shallows and moored close under the cliffs, while the water deepens to steel blue further out. Low headlands run along the horizon beneath a pale grey sky, and dry scrub and bleached stone cover the ledges in the foreground, painted in short, broken strokes.
