Color Shapes 1 - Mareike Böhmer

Three rounded shapes stack up the sheet on a dusty pink ground: deep burgundy at the top, a pale pink form half hidden behind the other two in the middle, and burnt orange with gold-brown edges at the bottom. Each is painted in wide curved strokes that follow the outline inwards, so the brush marks show as concentric bands inside the colour.

Painted in acrylic, each shape laid down in a few loaded strokes with the brush marks and the dry edges left as they fell. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
