Color Shapes 1X - Mareike Böhmer

Two rounded rectangles sit one above the other on a dark maroon ground. The upper one is coral orange with a thin olive edge where the brush ran out; the lower one is pale pink, ringed in crimson and worked with visible horizontal strokes that lighten towards the middle. They almost touch, and the dark gap between them is the only straight line in the picture.

Painted in acrylic, each shape laid down in a few loaded strokes with the brush marks and the dry edges left as they fell. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
