DayDream - Alice Ruja

On a warm cream ground, a frontal figure is drawn in fine pencil and washed in watercolour. Long straight hair with a heavy fringe falls in lilac and pink, and the half-closed eyes carry dark violet lashes with small pale blue stars for pupils. Soft green, rose and turquoise pool across face and shoulders, while a dense orange-red cloud spreads over the lower half above faintly sketched hands.
