Drought - Cristina Iacob

A face lies under a surface of cracked yellow-green plates, eyes shut and mouth open. Dark red fissures branch out from around the eyes and mouth across the whole picture like roots or dried-out veins, thickest where they leave the face and thinning to hairlines at the edges.
