Orange and yellow lilies open across a dark navy ground flecked with red and lime. The petals are streaked with two colours at once, scarlet dragged over gold, and pale green stems and leaves cut diagonally across the sheet. The background is sponged rather than brushed, so the dark is broken up all over.
