Friday banquet no. II - Mariam De Giorgio

A dinner table is laid on a blue-and-white patterned cloth with gold-rimmed plates, silver cutlery, cut-glass goblets and lit taper candles. At the centre a clear glass vase holds a full bouquet of cream and white roses, coral peonies, scarlet anemones and pale yellow stock among green leaves, lifted above a stack of red and green books. A dusty pink wall and dark wooden chairs close the scene.
