In the Silence of the Forest - Cristina Iacob

A birch stands close to the viewer with its white bark scored in black, and behind it thinner trunks carry a canopy of green and yellow leaves with patches of pale blue sky between them. Ferns, nettles and pale new growth crowd the forest floor, and a bare reddish path runs along the bottom edge.
