Inner Battle - Francisco Gualter

Two ancient warriors face away from each other on a flat red ground, drawn in blue and sand-coloured outlines lifted from Greek vase painting and then pixel-crushed. Their shields hang behind them as empty blue frames while spears cross the sheet on hard grey bars, so the fight reads as two halves of one figure rather than two opponents.
