A large yellow lemon lies back in a pale blue clawfoot bathtub, half sunk in white foam, with two curls of peel draped over the rim like arms. A small brass tap sits at one end and the tub rests on dark iron paws above a rough olive-green shadow. Soft watercolour washes on warm cream paper keep the whole joke understated.
