Moon Above the Clouds - Art By Biba

A full moon burns pale yellow inside a turquoise halo in the upper left of a black and midnight blue sky. Stars are flicked across the whole field, and a drift of green and violet nebula spreads down the right side. Along the bottom, banked clouds in blue, peach and cream roll up towards the light.

Acrylic on canvas, the sky blended wet and the stars flicked on over it. Biba Smith is a self-taught painter from London, now living in Hertfordshire, who works mainly in acrylic and takes much of her subject matter from the sky and space.
