Oyster and Lemon - Lisen Vennesland

A single opened oyster rests against a fat wedge of lemon, painted close up so the pearly greys, soft lilacs and buttery yellows can do all the work. The blue brushstroke border returns to frame the pair, and the words Lemon and Oysters are lettered by hand in deep navy just below the shell.
