Red Sun over the Motifs - Cristina Iacob

A large flat red sun hangs in the upper left of a deep teal ground. Below it, embroidery motifs are painted as raised shapes: eight-pointed stars, a wheel of petals, rosettes in coral and cornflower blue, rows of small hearts and a curling gold and teal leaf. Fainter versions of the same motifs are scratched into the ground around them.
