Skylight - Mariam De Giorgio

Potted plants crowd a sunlit corner, their leaves in deep and pale green spilling over rims of terracotta and a striped cream planter. Behind them a whitewashed wall carries the soft grey shadows the foliage throws, and light from above falls across a floor of warm ochre and gold. At the left edge a dark blue wrought-iron gate rises, its slender bars catching pale highlights.
