Still Night - Maria-Tia

A pale pink field is brushed flat across most of the canvas, with a small white dab high on the left standing in for a moon and a ridge of thick violet and white paint running down the right side. Below it the paint is pulled into ledges and drips. A raw crimson border is left showing round all four edges.

Acrylic on canvas, laid on thickly with a knife over a flat brushed ground. Maria-Tia Andron paints in her studio L'Espace29 in Sibiu, Romania, and uses colour boldly in her abstract work. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
