Sumptous - Naïve Art by YLR

A face in slate grey sits under an enormous crown of deep red hair, painted in thick ridged strokes that catch the light across the whole upper half of the picture. Around it a hot pink field is crossed by broad green bands that meet in a diamond, so the head reads as a portrait set inside a plain geometric frame. Only the mouth is drawn into the face; the rest is left flat.
