Sunday family gathering - Mariam De Giorgio

A long table dressed in a dark aubergine cloth is laid for a meal, with white plates, glasses and a pale jug along it and a copper bowl at the far end. Green foliage and pink flowers stand in a vase in the middle, and more blossom leans from a green vase at the left. Wooden chairs pull up over a rug patterned in deep red and green, and an open shutter on the right reveals a checked curtain and a black birdcage on the sill.
