The flower kiosk in Valletta - Mariam De Giorgio

A domed kiosk of weathered green copper stands under a stone arch, its hand-painted signs advertising a florist. Banks of flowers rise on every side: yellow chrysanthemums, white lilies, magenta and red blooms and trailing greenery that climbs to the roof. A red postbox stands at the left. Three shoppers pause on the grey paving stones, two women with bags in the foreground and one in a white top and blue striped skirt at the right.
