Verde 3 - Dan Hobday

Darker and more brooding than its companion Verde 2, this third piece in the series brings deep forest greens and near-black into confrontation with soft cream and white. Downward brushstrokes pool at the base, where black paint dominates, while lighter tones hold on in the upper half. The composition has a raw, almost elemental force — paint applied with physical directness.
